Celebrities who have dissed their exes

War of words: Celebrities who have dissed their exes

Jennifer Lopez

Jenny from the Block sure does like to talk! Shortly after her split from singer Marc Anthony was made public, the "American Idol" judge sat down for a revealing interview with Vanity Fair in which she not-so-subtly announced the father of her twins treated her like crap. "To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me," she said.

Jesse James
As if it wasn't bad enough he pulled a Tiger Woods and broke poor Sandra Bullock's heart, but then he goes and slams her bedroom skills too! During an interview with Howard Stern, the motorcycle mogul was asked who was better in bed, his ex-wife or current fiancé, Kat Von D. Instead of opting to skip the question like anyone with half a heart would do, he went for the jugular. "That one's an easy no-brainer. 100 per cent! She's a vixen, man. I love her

John Mayer
If you can't keep track of the outspoken singer's comments about his past relationships, you're not a slacker, it's a full-time job. But perhaps the most backhanded insult came when he responded to rumours Jennifer Aniston had dumped him because he was tweeting too much. "That wasn't it, but that was a big difference," he told Playboy. "The brunt of her success came before TMZ and Twitter. I think she's still hoping it goes back to 1998."

Ben Affleck
In 2009, several years after his split from fiancée Jennifer Lopez, and four years into his marriage to Jennifer Garner, Affleck finally spoke out on his high-profile relationship with the lovely Latina, saying he "felt suffocated, miserable and gross."

Kim Mathers
She's been married twice to rapper Eminem, but comments made to Detroit radio station WKQ1 last year leave little room for a third kick at the can. "I can't stand him. He's an absolutely horrible person, and he gets worse every day," she said. "I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him or hear his name. There's nothing left in me for him." Tell us how you really feel...

Madonna
Shortly after announcing her split from hubby Guy Ritchie in 2008, Madonna dedicated the song "Miles Away" to the "emotionally retarded" during the Boston stop of her "Sticky and Sweet" tour. "Maybe you know some people who fall into that category. God knows I do," she said. Not long after, Ritchie responded to the insult in an Esquire interview, saying "she's retarded too!"

Sean Penn
They were a couple for almost 20 years  and share two children together, but after his divorce to Robin Wright became final last year, the Oscar winner told Vanity Fair they are no longer a part of each other's lives. "She's a ghost to me," he said.

Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin
Their messy custody battle over daughter, Ireland, has resulted in some pretty nasty jabs between the former power couple over the years. After an irate voicemail was leaked in 2007, in which Baldwin called Ireland a "rude little pig," Basinger released a statement through her lawyer urging him to "finally address his unstable and irrational behaviour." For his part, Baldwin has insisted Basinger is trying to drive a wedge between him and his daughter, saying "parental alienation is about people who narcissistically project their whole reality onto a child: 'I don't need you, so the child doesn't need you.'"

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson
The exes have insulted each other publically almost as many times as they've broken up and most of the jabs have taken place in front of the paparazzi or on Twitter, much to the delight of voyeuristic fans. "I was right all along. Cheat," Lilo tweeted to Ronson in a lengthy tirade in 2009. "Being cheated on does wonders for you," she added. Then, when Lohan threw a glass at the celebrity DJ inside a nightclub and photographers later asked why, Ronson replied: "she's an angry human being."

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards
They may be on friendly terms now, but their divorce was one of the messiest Hollywood has seen . At the height of their public feuding, Richards shared a text message from her ex with the New York Post. "I hope you and your worthless retarded father get cancer and join your stupid mom. Rot in hell," Sheen reportedly wrote. "This is what I have to deal with on a weekly basis," she said. Sheen wasn't shy about sharing either, saying Richards "behaves as though she owns our children."
