Scorpion Fights Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat: Legacy BTS (VIDEO)

Go behind the scenes of director Kevin Tancharoen's Mortal Kombat: Legacy with new interviews and a glimpse of Scorpion fighting Sub-Zero!

Whether you loved or hated the first episode of Kevin Tancharoen's gritty Mortal Kombat: Legacy, you have to admit the project has some interesting potential.

The folks at IGN recently sat down with the cast and crew of the web series along with Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon for a behind the scenes look at the intensely choreographed fight scenes, and the potential future of the franchise.

In the clip below you'll see actors Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade) and Michael Jai White (Jax) and creator/director Tancharoen talk about the chances of Mortal Kombat: Legacy making it to the big screen, seasons beyond, and even catch a glimpse Scorpion and Sub-Zero duking it out in full costume!

There's also plenty of behind-the-scenes looks at other fight sequences to potentially be featured in the series, including several motion captures that suggest we might see the inclusion of Mortal Kombat's more exotic, Outworld-ly characters!

The series, written by Tancharoen and Spartacus: Blood and Sand writers Todd and Aaron Helbing and starring White, Ryan, and Battlestar Galactica's Tahmoh Penikett mainly follows Scorpion (Ian Anthony Dale), tasked by Jax and Sonya to enter the underground tournament and bring down Shang Tsung, amidst his own personal vendetta against Sub-Zero (and get another look at the ice-cold ninja here!)

See for yourself, and give us your take on both Legacy and the upcoming video game below!
